- Backyard Gardening Kids w/ the Louisa Master Gardeners – 7/5/2025 – 81 Louisa Avenue, Mineral, VA (Mineral Farmer’s Marketing) – Join the Louisa Extension Master Gardeners for Backyard Gardening Kids at the Mineral Farmer’s Market! This fun, hands-on educational event invites children to explore the wonders of gardening by creating their very own chia or grass head plants to take home and watch grow. It’s a perfect way to spark curiosity about plants and inspire young green thumbs. Don’t miss this free, family-friendly activity – 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
