Programming Resources

The State Office is developing programming resources for use throughout the commonwealth.  These will include a wide variety of content, from “canned projects” that include you need to run a project in your community, to state-wide community engaged science projects. These will be updated throughout 2025, so check back soon if you can’t find what you’re looking for.


Community Engaged Science: Allium Leafminer Scouting Project 2025

Participate in a citizen science scouting project to monitor spread of the allium leafminer. This is a partnership with the Kuhar Vegetable Entomology Lab at Virginia Tech.

EMG/ 4-H School Enrichment Toolkit

This Curriculum Package includes materials for conducting direct education as guest instructors for school-aged children. Lessons include soils, forestry, and natural resources.
